Isopods make great additions to bioactive enclosures and terrariums. They can help break down decaying materials and are fascinating to watch. They also make great standalone pets! While they do have certain requirements and a level of husbandry to ensure they thrive, they are very easy and fun to keep.
Springtails play a crucial role in maintaining a healthy ecosystem. They feed on mold and break down decaying organic matter, helping to keep their environment clean and balanced and contributing to nutrient cycling, enriching soil and supporting plant health. This makes them a great addition to terrariums!
